Dr. Rasmussen received a dual bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Studies at Brigham Young University with a minor in Asian Studies. He received his D.D.S. from UCLA in 2012. While at UCLA he participated in research using Cone-beam CT scans to map the location and probability of the fourth (MB2) canal in maxillary molars. He then attended the University of Florida Dental School to complete his Endodontic Certificate and Master's in Oral Biology. While there he participated in research in novel root canal irrigation activation techniques.

Moving to Medford from the Austin, Texas area, Marc was also an associate endodontist in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he was able to hone his skills in surgical and non-surgical root canal therapy. Prior to dental school, he had the opportunity to live around the world in Utah, Belgium, Hong Kong, Pennsylvania, and South Africa.
